Incarnate - Embrace The Horror The Netherlands 2003, a new band was founded and it got the monicker Incarnate. Four guys with a mission to make heavy music by combining thrash metal with hardcore. "Embrace The Horror" is their debut full length after their previous MCD and tribute releases. On "Embrace The Horror" you will hear 10 tracks if you listen to it completely. And when you listen you will hear songs that mix uptempo with mid paced breaks. Groovy guitars that can play aggressive and fast riffs or the short and heavy ones. Drums and bass that can beat the necessary backbone of the songs. But the vocals are their weakest point in my opinion. They sound too weak and monotonous and also they sound too much as Gert Jan of Gorefest. But maybe that is because they are from the same area? So in the end I have heard an album that is heavy, groovy and hide enough little things worth the listening but it also could use improvement in the vocals. Incarnate |
