The legend of this Swedish band is going back to 1990 when they started the band in Finland. After several linu up changes, releases, tours we are now here in 2007.
On this 10th studio album Impaled Nazarene is starting with a weird intro flowing over in "The Antichrist Files" where they want you to pledge allegions to Satan. Yes sirs! Lyrically they praise Baphomet, crush the unbelievers and predict murder and this is shouted into the microphone like he is impaled himself. All this is guided by fast drummed songs where the double bass pedals are used frequently. The guitars are riffing in short hits and not too difficult in melodic rhythms but on the other hand they do some leads now and then. Halfway they do a mid paced song and add churchbells to it to make sure the Funeral is taking place. And to the end of "Manifest" the songs are co working on fast and mid paced speedings with "Goat Justice" as one of the fastest. With "Manifest" Impaled Nazarene is releasing a steady and brutal album.
