The roots of the band Grone is going back to 1987 when the guys went to high school together.They formed Grone but also another band named Stains And Omissions. With Grone they released their debut "Chucklepatch" with a drum machine as the drummer left the band. "Grovel" isn't completly Grone but also add some songs of Stains And Omissions. The metal they play is a mix of Sepulturas tribal metal and death metal and even a bit of hardcore. Repetitive riffs, distorted vocals in a heavy crunch mixture. The band is currently inactive as the members are spending time to their other bands, family and work. This album is woth checking out as non standard death metal.
