Epitome is a Polish pathalogical grindcore band and the opener of this 7" vinyl release. Both band play 3 tracks and they are rather short. Epitome is kicking off rapidly with 58 secs of blasting sounds. 2 Style vocals, thick guitar riffing and stampede drums. The songs are over before you know and they are asking to play it again. They have a hook that make it all worth.
Mesrine is the second band and they were formed in Quebec (Canada) in 1997. They already released several albums, splits, compilations and 7". Deep growling voices over up tempo songs about serial killers and death. The emphasis is not the fast speed but they are active in variation. So you get the mosh mid parts and the blasts. A nice piece of decent grind but not very spectacular.
