Empyrios is an Italian band that is active since 2001 and they play technical and progressive metal. Guitars are done by a talented player and he is doing nice leads and also thrash based riffs like Nevermore or Meshuggah. Also the keys are there when you are talking about progressive metal. Vocals are high and clean and surely fitting this power metal as in the ballads as more up tempo tracks. The songs are a nice mixture as it also sounds symphonic and played well. The ballad "Eal" is not necessary as it takes out the tempo of the album. But most likely it is expected to do a ballad on your album. Empyrios delivered a really nice album with various thoughts and feelings and enjoyabke for fans of Dream Theater, Symphony X and Evergrey.
