Embalmed Madness #1 - Nerlich / Decoherence / Gorgasm split CD This compilation is kicked off by Nerlich (Finland) playing brutal deathmetal in a early 90's U.S. style with tight and technical guitarriffs, pounding bass sound and up tempo and double bass drumparts. Sounds familiar but songs are just great and sound is tight and energetic. Decoherence (France) plays more thrashing and aggressive blasting deathmetal with speedmetal guitarriffs changing tempo easily, melted with the dynamical drumming into a interesting piece of brutality. Vocals vary alot and quickly from screaming into grunting and deeper. Last band on the disk is Gorgasm (also from France) playing technical melodical brutal deathmetal with dual guitarmelodies, heavy bassguitar sound with some nice loops and clinical sounding drums. Songstructures are quite crazy changing in tempo and atmosphere. Great underground release with skullcrushing deathmetal in three different styles...
