The man behind Dark Psychosis is Xaphan and he is also a member of Summon. On his solo album he is showing 9 tracks of raw black metal in the old fashion way. Not strange as the songs are written in 1994, 1998 or 1999. Influences from ealier black metal (Venom and Celtic Frost!!) are heard but also the soundquality is a bit out dated. This should have had a better production. The intro is building some tension when track 2 is falling in with mid tempo and raw vocals. Xaphan is doing it oke for himself but getting help from the drummer of Sauron (USA). Also good to hear that there a guitarleads in the songs. A psychosis journey for old school black metal fans.
