Darkmoon - Apocalyptic Syndrome Darkmoon (Switzerland) is founded in 1997 and one year later they released their first demo. Their second demo followed in 2000 and after their third demo they entered the studio late 2004 to record their full length. "Of Biterness And Hate" was released in 2005 and now two years later the follow up hits the stores. "Apocalyptic Syndrome" contains 10 tracks in a mixture of thrash, death and black metal in the Swedish tradition. Tempo of the songs vary between mid and up tempo in which they don't break the fastest record. The drum patterns are not too complicated but are solid and they are the backbone of the twin melody squeezing guitars. Nice riffing with good sense of the aformentioned melody. Vocals are pleasant grunting with ease and power. Darkmoon created a nice album with good balanced songs, powerful and melodic.
