BRUTALISM

Greece is a country most of you will know. Maybe you know it as a country to spend your summer holiday, tasteful foods, maybe because of the multi gods or the Olympics. Maybe you also know that fucking your girl in the ass is called doing it the Greek Way (at least here in the Netherlands). All this is explaining the band name of these 4 guys from the island Cefalonia. They are sodomizing eachother for 2 years before they decided to spread their anal experiences to the world. Made a suitable cover and send out the promo (now signed by Black Meadow Records) containing 7 of the 19 tracks.

The opening and closing song is best to played with low volume as it almost crushes the speakers with the distorted noise. What follows are 5 tracks of a filthy, raw combination of death grind. Two way vocals (brutal growling and high neurotic screams), high tempo with groove breakdowns. The guitar sound is heavy and slightly distorted, doing no leads just solid riffs. Would be cool if they use a clean guitar sound in the future to avoid that blurry distorted black metal guitar sound and maybe add some short leads to step out the line.
With this promo The Anal Treatment XXX is stepping foot in the right direction although some minor things have to be add to open the rectum completely...
