Dutch death metal monster Severe Torture is unleashing their new album on Earache. Like all the predecessors this is brutal, very brutal. With each album Severe Torture is growing and showing in this balanced album. The tracks are compact but yet expanded with breaks, compelling mid tempo parts, double bass drums. Vocals are gutteral but not too extreme and the guitars are riffing more complex. Although some songs could use some wicked leads. A mature album and without doubt showing that Severe Torture is in the top rank of the death metal scene!! Obligatory.
