BRUTALISM

Progressive Metal from Italy. This album has very much of an alternative pop rock influence to it. Very progressive metal ambiance here with melodic tracks, pretty female vocals and flowy soloing. All in all this is a very well put together album and it is a fine stepping point for a debut. On a down note though I feel that there is something lacking here and unfortunately my attention wainned half way through the album. This is a good album to view as a preview of what is to come in the future from this band and I am sure they will pull through with flying colors on the next one. Taking into consideration the time and effort that was put into this and the fact that these are all great musicians I give this one a 2,5 out of 5 and still suggest that you check it out.
