With their follow-up to 2004's full-length CD "Sempiternal Consecration," Luna Ad Noctum have really done it this time. THE UNHOLY CREATION MADE FLESH. In the vein of Cradle of Filth and Agathodaimon, "The Perfect Evil In Mortal" is an aesthetically pleasing assault on all that is good. Everything comes at you at a pretty fast pace. Walls of guitars and keyboards create an atmosphere of sensual darkness while the attack of Drago's pummeling double-bass and expert tom fills keep the thunder rumbling.

Throw in the vocals of Adrian Nefarious (he also plays the bass) that are about as soothing to the eardrums as the sound of Freddy Kreuger scraping his claws against a chalkboard, and also for good measure add the crunching guitar riffs and demented guitar tremolos and occasional outburst of guitar melody by axemen Tomas Infamous and Blasphemo. What you end up with is a recipie for gorgeous destruction to be devoured ravenously and sure to satiate the appetite of any black metal fan who appreciates good production quality.
