Now, who the fuck listens to extreme metal and doesn’t know these crazy maniacs???!!! We’re talking about a killer split here! It’s released in both 7” vinyl and CD mode and those who are getting the CD, are luckier because there are 2 more songs of each band there….Leng Tch’e begins the assault in a total straight forward, “in your face” way: blastbeats interchange with punk or groovy rhythms and the riffing is totally deranged. These tracks are a perfect sample of how grind/crustcore should be played (I bet they owe a lot to Napalm Death, god damn it!).I also have to mention that comparing to other splits, that are often rough-andready recorded or mixed, this one’s fucking perfect! Leng Tch’e’s sound is almost as strong and clean as in their full-length albums and Fuck the Facts sounds a bit more blurry but yet the sound is very appropriate for their type of music, which is brutal but also “trippy” in a way…..So, Fuck the Facts continue the killing but these guys are tricky: they start with an instrumental track that could have been in a post rock album, they calm you down, just to punch you in the ass right out of nowhere!!! We’re talking about a full grindcore explosion here: Non-stop blastbeating, neurotic screaming and stuff like that….but the real thing about Fuck the Facts, is that they try to push their limits every time e.g. they have no problem playing melodies, but they do it in a way that keeps the adrenalin high all the time. Definitely one of the most brilliant bands in the scene!Invest your money fearless! This release is a piece of gold throughout the shit you listen to every day! (review by Iakhos)
