Brutalism

After their demo in 2002 and the "Acts Of Rage" in 2003 it is time to release their new album. So in 2007 they released "Domain" on Deity Down Records and the album is containing 12 tracks. Devious plays death metal with a technical and groovy approach. The songs are well structured and still sounding loose. Raw and aggressive grunts by their new vocalist and fresh sounding thrashy riffs that jump up and down. Together with the solid base the songs just rocks. Tempo is various and with the blast, accoustic interlude or synth parts it is also multi dimensional. No wonder it took almost 4 years to come up with this album as they spend the time recording and had eye for details. Nice artwork and a cool videoclip of "Room 302". Top release!
