First album from Alien (Sweden) after their reunion with the purpose to recreate the old atmosphere and add a modern touch. This is unique sounding hardrock with a lot of melody provided by (duelling) guitarleads and fills. There's a strange balance between the depression and despair of the lyrics and vocals versus the happiness and positivity of the music and melodies. This can also be referred to as quality because they cross the borders of total darkness and light at the end of the tunnel and melt this multi-dimensional universe into interesting music with a lot of variation, great performance and solid songwriting......
