Album number 5th from these satanic blasters from England. Akercocke has always been a band not of a kind. They mix black, progressive and death metal and create threatening and diversity music. Blasting songs are interacting with demonic verses or atmospheric melodies. Vocals are grunting or it can be clean singing. Because of the diversity in melodies and tempo's you would think that it is chaos but when you listen closely you discover that it is pretty damn clever. Subtile chances which give this release the tension that a good death metal album should give. Very good album the only problem is that the shound quality should be better. It is sounding a bit dull and should be sprankling in order to unleash the real antichrist...
