Please give us a short introduction of yourself? Hi, I'm Nalle, the drummer of Chaosbreed. What's up? Is CB a band or side project? And should it be taken serious? It might have started off as a project, but has grown into a serious band. The music is seriously made but don't make the mistake of taking us too seriously as persons. What is the difference between Scandinavian death metal and US style? In my opinion US style is more about technicality whereas Scandinavian style is more about songs. If you should mention some influences which would it be? When we formed the band, we declared our influences as follows: Entombed, Dismember, Carnage, Grave, Unleashed, Autopsy, Repulsion, Carcass, Slayer and Morbid Angel. Even when those influences are still valid, the following bands can just as well be added to that list: Death, Master, Napalm Death, Terrorizer, Xysma, Funebre, Bathory, Discharge, Disfear, Beherit, Barathrum, Impaled Nazarene and Hortto Kaalo. For full list of influences, check the "OTHER"-section at our webshite. Do you pay for royalties if you play covers on stage? We give bands credit when credit is due, yeah. Ask Crash music if they pay royalties for recordings they have released without owning the rights. Why didn't named you track 4 AC/DC? Great idea! How come we didn't think of it? We will pay you royalties when we have changed the title, ok!? Do you know the names of all the lakes in Finland? No. Do you? Of which fruit can you have the most fun? You tell me, you pervert! What do you hear when a band plays weak DM? I hear the sound of a CD popping out from my CD-player. Can you give some advice for people who start a band? Yes, many. Try to find people who have similar interests as you. Try to write great songs. Don't give up when the first setback arises. Work hard, rehearse often and try to be friendly with people around you, because those are the same persons you meet when you are going up as when you are coming down. And most important: Have fun, not fights! Ever thought of writing teaching material for musical students? No, I don't know musical theory. If I knew, then I might.. Nooo, I prefer practice before theory. Do you sleep with your hands above the sheets? It depends. How do you remember all the different rhythms in all your songs? Never forgot a riff? We play playback! Nooo, only joking. It's easy to remember when you rehearse. Also our songs are so simple that even retards (like us) can remember them. How disciplined are the members according songwriting? I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question. Of course we must be disciplined, because otherwise we wouldn't have gotten any results this quickly. We plan things and then we execute them, it's that simple. What can we expect in the nearby future? Brutal is out NOW, but we are already writing songs for our second album that should be recorded late this year and out next year. Besides this we plan to play as many shows as possible and make some tours abroad when the time is right. Any goals to achieve? Too many.
