Black Raven is a young band from the northeast of Italy. Black Raven started somewhere around 2003 but their first live gig was in 2005. The goal of the band is to make pure heavy metal music in the vain of the old days and also play some covers of Maiden or Priest. In 2007 they tought the time was there to record their first demo called "The Day Of The Raven" and containing 5 tracks. From the first note you have a feeling that it could be something. And indeed, the band succeed in writing songs that breath honest heavy metal. For an Italian band the vocals are of descent english and having power enough. Guitars that riff the melody and leads with solid drums. Black Raven uses multi vocal chorusses which can sing along with instantly in melodic uptempo songs. This demo shows a promise for the future and they are a joy for the real heavy metal fans.
