Black Crucifixion is an underground band from Finland and they are counted as one lands pioneers of black metal. Their recording sessions take a long time and this album was originally a mini album and released in 1993. But it has been sold out and now the Dutch label Soulseller is re-releasing it with bonus material. I never heard the band before but what i hear is not really black metal. I would say it is more dark metal with doom elements. Tempo of the songs are in the mid paced range and spreading a melancholic aroma. The production is good and it is a switch hearing the rough demosound but it fits the concept of this release. The band is named as an influence in the scene but i think that is a bit too much credit. Their songs touch your dark emotions with a melancholic trip so lets wait for 10 years more...
