Biomechanical - Cannibalised review exclusively done for AEA Zine Thrash metal was born in the 80s and still there are fans of this style and so there are bands who play it. On one hand you have bands that try to get the vibe from the old days and you have band who convert it to nowadays measures. Biomechanical is a band of that last type. The band plays so called modern thrash with a vocalist who sounds as a fucked up Rob Halford, haha. And because of this screaming guy it sounds a bit messy. Guitars are heavy played with numerous furious leads. After the three opening tracks the band switches to a semi ballad kind of song that stops the ride too early. And from that on it goes up and down on "Cannibalised". Strong parts against weak parts, furious leads against ordinairy riffs. So in the end and album that is not convincing as being a new wave of modern thrash metal.
