Bible Of The Devil - The Diabolic Procession

review by Mykke of DoomRadio.net exclusively for BRUTALISM.com

Their 5th album in the last 4 years, Bible of the Devil have been hard at work promoting that ol' time religion, the kind of music that soothes the soul, and that is of course that old time rock 'n' roll otherwise known as stoner rock, the kind of music the teenagers were playin' in the 70's having a good time and then by the time we got in high school Reagan was in office and -- ah hell.
This CD is some shit you can sink yer teeth into! "The Diabolic Procession" does of course much homage to 70's hard rock with big riffs, whiny vocals that would be voted off the American Idol Island but we love 'em anyway, and drums fills that expertly anticipate any and all gaps in your listening concentration. Ya feel almost like you are listening to one of those great KISS albums from the 70's, especially with regard to the background vocals and guitar sounds. Whether you are a fan of stoner rock or riff rock, or you just like to rock 'n' roll over all night and party every day, "The Diabolic Procession" is definitely worth a hit.
