Heavy Metal Album You Should Own | Iron Maiden - The Number Of The Beast

There are numerous albums you should own from Iron Maiden, but 'The Number of the Beast' stands higher than the rest.  

'The Number of the Beast' was the third studio album released by band dating back in 1982.  This album marked the debut of vocalist Bruce Dickinson and was the final appearance of drummer Clive Burr.

It was the first record for Iron Maiden to reach No 1. in the UK Albums Chart and became a Platinum in the United States.  The songs "Run to the Hills"  and "The Number of the Beast" were the fans favorites.

Abbath Debuts New Video "Fenrir Hunts"

Today Abbath has premiered a brand new video entitled "Fenrir Hunts". If you have been following black metal you will know that the legendary band Immortal is no more, and this new band is led by Olve Eikemo (Abbath).

The video is a live recording of the new track and will be included on their upcoming album, which is set to release sometime in the beginning of the year.

The band commented:

We have performed 'Fenrir Hunts' live since our debut concert at Tuska festival in Finland. This led to the decision to record a few live songs properly. With the aid of a camera team, we have recorded three tracks in a live setting at the beginning of September. Along with 'Fenrir Hunts', which you can see today, there will be two cover versions coming up soon. Now, here is 'Fenrir Hunts', the first glimpse from our upcoming debut album!

This last weekend Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum was making a stop in Las Vegas on their Shadows Over North American tour. I have seen both of these bands live in the past, and it never gets old. If you haven’t seen either one of them and you’re a fan of melodic death metal, now is your chance to get out and see two of the best band in the genre today.

With the tour in full swing both bands have released a combined split 7” with two songs on it. This is a tour exclusive and is limited to only 500 copies.

Side A includes “Out to the Sea” by Insomnium that was previously released as a bonus track on their ‘Shadows Of The Dying Sun’ deluxe edition.
