The music is based on the symioses of high-speed guitar storms, dark poetry with vigorous vocals, majesic keyboard symphonies and infernal blastbeats. Inspired by bands like Emperor, Arcturus, Cynic, Death, Zyklon and lots of other great bands; Aeons Confer have found their own combination of musical structures. Hi, I'm Nils the drummer of AEONS CONFER, I'm 25 years old and live in Hamburg/Germany. I've long black curled hair and my eye colour is Blue/Green/Grey, I've started playing the drums when I was 16 before that I played guitar. There were a couple of bands in which I played before I've founded AEONS CONFER together with my brother Simon. I do the screen design and write the lyrics for AEONS CONFER, too. Do you have other brothers or sisters? How is it to have a real metal brother? Yes, my brother Simon and I founded AEONS CONFER in 1997. I don't have any other siblings. For me it is the greatest thing on earth to play with Simon in a Band. Our two minds & hearts fit excellent and we share a lot of time and experiences. Do you see the other bandmembers as "brothers"? Yes, of course, we«re like a big family and day by day we grow further together. How many times can we find you at the Reeperbahn? Too often man =) I like the Reeperbahn and all the Bars and Clubs very much. What other reason is there to visit Hamburg? You can see AEONS CONFER live. What is there to do for metal fans who seek a holiday place? Get a hotel room @ the Reeperbahn to have a short way to the strip / city and port where you can find great Bars, too. Don't worry there are lots of hotels. Are there some good metal shops where people can go to? Do you visit these shops when you are on holiday? You get all the rare stuff you«ve searched for centuries. Do you still go on holiday with your parents? How does your holiday looks like? No, but it would be great to do a holiday with them - good idea man, thnx! I like to sleep long and have some cold drinks while I'm relaxing with my CDs and DVDs. But I like to dive/surf/snowboard and ride the jet-ski, too. How do you sell your MCD? Only thru the site? How many have you sold? But remember you can download the whole MCD from our website www.aeonsconfer.com for free! What kind of fans do you think who will like your music? What do you do to reach them? I think people who are interested in extreme, dark & technical music will probably like us. Some guys told us that we've a sound between Dimmu Borgir & Zyklon. But even people who like Death Metal and other types of Metal seem to find AEONS CONFER attractive. I guess it's because we've a lot of different elements in our music and our frontman Tim doesn't only scream the Black Metal way, he growles and do spoken word-parts with his dark voices, too. Are you a supporter of HSV? How big is your interest in sports? Think sport is good for your mind and body? By hell, NO!!!I don't support the HSV!!! I'm not interested in any sports on TV or live but I like the 1.FC St. Pauli and all the brother & sisters who support this club. Playing drums four times a week keeps my mind and body alive, that is enough. Playing in a band costs money. Do you seek sponsors? Think you will earn some money someday? It would be great to earn money with our music someday, but that isn't our impulse. We do the music for ourselves and if other people like it we're happy and it means very much to us. Do you have and play Playstation 2? Or fav (computer)games? Pinball addicited? Or picking your nose during a movie? No, I don't have a PS2 but Alexander our guitarist does, he enjoys it very much. I'm mad about STARCRAFT! Simon, Tim, Alexander, Dennis and I play it often in the Battle Net. This game rocks, dude! Like watching movies? Your fav films? And the top 3 of cartoons? Yes, I like watching movies, at least I've got a really good quality promo VCD of the Two Towers (Lord of the Rings) and it is a fantastic movie. My favorite movies are: Star Wars 4-6 Terminator 1-2 Predator 1 Aliens 1-4 Stargate Matrix Queen of the Damned Resident Evil Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas The Big Lebowski My favorite top 3 cartoons are: Vampire Hunter D Final Fantasy Bugs Bunnies Roadrunner Why does german television don't use subtitles but use the irritating german voice overs like "Hey du Johnny, Hände hoch oder es klapt"! Hahaha, great stuff =) yeah, you mean : "Hey Du Johnny, Hände hoch oder es knallt!" I don't find it irritating to hear a german voice while I'm watching a english or japan film. I think it fits. Subtitles are sometimes very irritating, 6 months ago I saw the film "The Avenging Fist" I guess they spoke chinese and the english subtitles blew my mind because they were to fast for me. How fast do you drive at the highway because there are some of them having unlimited speeding? On some highways you can drive up to 240 kmh, if you have a Ferrari Maranello under your ass. But 140-180 kmh is okay. Why are you so hungry to appear on the BRUTALISM site? BRUTALISM is a great & huge plattform of the underground movement and I think it is important for a band like us to support and get supported by people and other bands who are interested in metal music. Keep on burning, brothers and sisters! Tell some lines of what people can expect when buying your MCD beside the cool inprint on the CD!
