The history of this Swedish band goes back to 2002 when 3 guys decided to mkae music together. After some rehearsals they decided to play grindcore under the banner Gridlock. When they needed an extra guitarist they also evaluate with death and thrash metal influences. With this change a new bandname was needed. They found a new one after reading a newspaper article about austrlian kids playing arsonists.
In 2002 they recorded their first demo followed by a second one in 2004. Also in 2004 they recorded others tracks and together with almost the complete demos a full length was born. But it took 3 more years before it was released worldwide.
So on this album you will hear 18 (and a hidden sample) tracks in a fast tempo bulging with groovy breakdowns. The track "Despair" in the middle is a slow doomy atmospheric guitar based track. And it is also the longest song on the album. But right after the 3 minutes they step on the gas again. Vocals are raspy and screaming, blasting drums while the guitars are riffing with the flow.
"In The Name Of..." is a solid piece of metal but the only thing is that there are hundreds of this kind. So would be cool to hear some outstanding points in their songs. Something that put your jaw down.
